Barney Howells is a UK born director who now calls Melbourne home.

 

A finalist at Cannes and Kinsale Shark Awards for the best new director, Barney Howells’ film for Xbox was shortlisted at the British Television and Advertising Craft Awards and won Creativity Magazine’s Platinum Award.

 

Since relocating to Australia in 2009 Barney has shot for major blue chip Aussie brands including: Myer, Kmart, MLA, Bank of Melbourne and Lion Dairy (amongst many others)

 

Recently Barney setup and ran the internal production team at Sportsbet where he also directed a number of high-profile, and award winning campaigns.
