With over 15 years experience working in the film, TV & advertising industries, Zac is a multi-faceted Director & Editor, with a keen eye for strong visuals and emotive storytelling, creating thought-provoking and inspiring work.
Zac is particularly drawn to comedy, with a knack for finding the perfect talent for any role. He has a strong ability to discover and elevate the “funny” in any script, striving to always get the best out of any “gag”, and provides actors the freedom to explore improv opportunities.
In 2015 Zac took on the role of Content Director/Editor/DP at Ogilvy & Mather Sydney, within the TV production Department. During this time he honed his skills and built an impressive body of directing work across a variety of genres and styles.
Over Zac’s career he has partnered with a wide range of clientele such as Hahn Super Dry, American Express, Coke, Optus, Primo HCF, SurfStich, Vodafone, Mitre 10, Auto One, Museum of Contemporary Art Australia. Zac has also directed music videos for bands such as Birds of Tokyo and The Rions.
Zac has been part of productions that have received a Bronze Lion in the Cannes Design Lions Awards, Silver at the Skippies and Bronze Effie Awards.
