After graduating Victorian College of the Arts, Mick’s student film ‘Opportunity Knocks’ won many festival awards including best Australian Short Film at the Sydney Film Festival. His next effort ‘Cabbie Of The Year’ won the AFI for Best Short Screenplay.

 

Turning his attention to directing television commercials locally and overseas, Mick has won a breathtaking flurry of awards. Not really, just a few.

 

He’s written and directed drama and children’s television for the ABC and Nine Network, and has won the Final Draft Screenplay Competition in Los Angeles with his action comedy, CRIMS, now in development with Greenlit Productions.
